A recent article at bytestart.co.uk stated that the Firefox browser now has 8% marketshare (May Data). As you may remember I wrote a blog in February that had Firefox at 5.7% with a quote from Microsoft essentially stating that it wasn't really a threat. Wonder what they're saying now. I predict they will have a 12% share by the end of this year.

As someone that recently converted to firefox I would have to agree with you. At first I wouldnt hear of it, had a friend that kept encouraging it.. Then my pc was infested with spyware badly... So now that Im on a new computer (five months old) I now am using FF.. I think i read somewhere that I represent the 2 percent of woman that now use opensource products.. Interesting indeed.
Wonder what microsoft is thinking now
