Bluetooth blast from the past...

The year was 2002 and Toshiba is rolling out Bluetooth kitchen appliances at the Bluetooth Expo 2002 promising to connect us to our kitchens and our appliances to our manufacturers.  I personally don't have one or know of anyone that has a Bluetooth device in a kitchen appliance and would love to hear from a reader that owns one of these toys.

The problem with the vision of Toshiba is that the appliance industry, those guys that install and repair your oven or microwave are very low tech.  Additionally, there's no upside for the manufacturer to triage incoming electronic messages from your blender and send service to Bob's Kitchen Repair. 

They were right about the Bluetooth headsets though.
